Welcome! We are so excited to offer this 3-hr workshop, held at Teho Fitness!

This special event/workshop includes:

—1hr-heated yoga strength intervals (An invigorating fusion of yoga and strength training. This dynamic class blends the mindfulness of yoga with the intensity of interval training to deliver a comprehensive workout that energizes both body and mind)

—30-minute guided yoga nidra + transcendental meditation (The practice of TM aims to provide a deep state of rest and relaxation while simultaneously enhancing alertness and awareness, leading to a state of "transcendence", where the mind is deeply quiet yet fully awake)

—Nourishing nutrient-dense post-workout meal (group discussion about the meal and recipe to take home)

—Developing a healthy relationship with food-nutrition discussion w/Daniele

—Reducing your exposure to toxins discussion w/Cat founder and CEO of Cat’s Herbals

Why am I so passionate about this workshop?

For as long as I can remember I have personally struggled with food addiction (food addiction is often linked to the brain's reward system, where certain foods trigger the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter associated with pleasure and reward. This creates a cycle of craving and consumption similar to drug addiction).

That being said I have been able to overcome this addiction through meditation practices, physical activity, and researching/experimenting using food to fuel my body, not my emotions.

Maybe you don't struggle with food addiction, but I believe we all have some sort of addictions that hinder our ability to be our best. Gaining knowledge, surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals, and becoming more self aware can help you overcome these addictions.
